Class 3A seventh-ranked Dubuque Hempstead defeated City High 41-26 in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual meet on Thursday in Iowa City.

Chase Williams, Malachi Clement, Jimmy Milder, Jude Seebeck, Blaine Heick and Kane Willey all earned wins for City High on Thursday.

Williams won an 18-11 decision over fifth-ranked Landon Gottschalk at 120 pounds and Clement won a 6-1 decision over Caleb Lightfoot at 138 pounds.

Milder won a 12-0 major decision over Charley Lahey at 144 pounds, Seebeck won a 15-3 major decision over Liam Krausman at 165 and Blaine Heick pinned Ayden Milligan in 1:49 at 190 pounds.

Willey added a first-period pin of Spencer Connolly in :38 at 285 pounds.
