Another week, another big effort from Keegan Decker at a Mississippi Valley Conference Meet at Seminole Valley Park.

Decker followed up a strong finish at the MVC Super Meet last Thursday with a runner-up finish at the MVC Mississippi Divisional on Thursday at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids.

The runner-up finish by Decker headlined three top-10 finishes for the Lightning as Liberty High edged Dubuque Senior for the team title.

Liberty High finished with 62 points while Dubuque Senior was runner-up with 67 and Cedar Rapids Kennedy was third with 79.

West High finished fifth with 93 points.

Decker finished runner-up to individual champion Quentin Nauman of Western Dubuque in a time of 15:08.5.

Noah Gregoire and Jacob Madson each joined Decker in the top 10.

Gregoire finished eighth in a time of 15:50.8 while Madson was 10^th in 15:57.2.

Lars Hildebrand finished 19^th in 16:36.8 and Tayson Cho finished 24^th in 16:49.9 for the Lightning.

West High was led by Moustafa Tiea who finished fifth in 15:43.8 and Michael Hanna who finished 16^th in 16:29.9.

Jake Wieler was 21^st in a time of 16:44.4 and Evan Merrill was 25^th in 16:50.6 for the Trojans.
