West Branch defeated West Liberty in a River Valley Conference dual meet on Monday at Cedars Edge Golf Course in West Branch.

West Branch had five players shoot 39 or better on Monday while finishing with a 147, 20 strokes better than the Comets.

Sawyer Jeffries fired a two-under-par 34 to earn medalist honors while McGavin Smith shot a 35 to finish runner-up.

Bryce Anderson, Reese Gingerich and Gavin Oxley all shot a 39 for the Bears.

Cody Seiler led West Liberty with a 36.
