Asta Hildebrand had 12 kills and Ellie Wilson had 11 kills as Class 5A No. 10 Liberty High knocked off No. 15 Linn-Mar 25-20, 25-20, 19-25, 25-17 in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division match on Tuesday in Marion.

Liberty High improved to 8-10 on the season with its second straight victory MVC divisional win while Linn-Mar dropped to 11-9.

Five Liberty High players had at least four kills as Sydney Van Heukelom added eight kills, Lucy Maassen had six kills and Ashlyn Nordell had four kills and five blocks.

Hildebrand had 17 digs, 16 assists and three blocks to go with her team-high 12 kills while Wilson had 11 digs.

Hadley Miller had 19 assists, 11 digs and four ace serves and Edie Miller had 29 digs for the Lightning.
