Cedar Rapids Xavier turned the tables on Liberty High on Friday downing the Lightning 53-45 in a Mississippi Valley Conference matchup in Cedar Rapids.

The win improved Cedar Rapids Xavier to 6-10 on the season and avenged a 61-41 loss to Liberty High on December 22 in North Liberty.

Liberty High dropped to 5-8 with the loss.

Libby Fandel had 34 points, 10 rebounds, four steals and three assists to lead Cedar Rapids Xavier while Madden Wilson had 11 points, four rebounds and four steals for the Saints.

Natalie Ramsey had 20 points and eight rebounds to lead Liberty High while Janessa Mosley had seven points and six rebounds.

Bella Tafolla had seven points and Madeline Casey had five points for the Lightning.
