Liberty High fell to Class 4A No. 14 Western Dubuque 67-54 on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in North Liberty.
Western Dubuque improved to 4-3 with the win while Liberty High dropped to 1-5 on the season with the loss.
Natalie Ramsey led Liberty High with 18 points and eight rebounds while Kennedy Goodheart had 13 points, three rebounds and three assists for the Lightning.
Bella Tafolla had nine points, five assists and three rebounds and Sydney Van Heukelom had six points and three rebounds.
Carson Koerperich had 17 points to lead Western Dubuque and Kaitlyn Thole had 15 points and 14 rebounds for the Bobcats.
