Class 5A top-ranked Liberty High completed an unbeaten season in Mississippi Valley Conference play with a sweep of Dubuque Wahlert on Tuesday in North Liberty.

Liberty High won 25-11, 25-12, 25-12 to improve to 24-4 on the season and 7-0 in MVC Mississippi  Division play securing sole possession of first place in the division.

Cassidy Hartman had a team-high 12 kills for Liberty High while Asta Hildebrand, Sam Harvey and Shelby Kimm each added four kills.

Kimm had seven ace serves and 13 digs while Chante Hardaway and Hartman each had a pair of blocks for the Lightning.

Gabbie Schroeder had three ace serves and 10 digs and Mariah Rollins had 16 assists.
