Boys Cross Country Roundup: Solon Finishes Runner-up at Anamosa Invitational

Solon finished runner-up at the Anamosa Invite on Saturday morning at Anamosa Middle School.
Class 4A No. 14 Cedar Rapids Kennedy won the team title with 23 points followed by Solon with 83 points and host Anamosa with 102.
Sophomore Anders Holmes led three Solon runners that finished in the top 15 placing 10th in a time of 17:32.2.
Rene Meza finished 12th in 17:40.2 while Deacon Waddell was 15th in 17:56.1 for Solon.
Preston Raasch added a 20th place finish in 18:03.3 and Spencer Michels placed 28th in 18:44.2.
