Zoske Wins Individual Title as Solon Returns to State Meet With Runner-up District Finish

After a one-year break Solon is headed back to the state golf meet.
Solon shot a 324 to finish runner-up at the Class 3A district meet at Pin Oak Pub & Links on Monday in Manchester.
Defending Class 3A runner-up Isaiah Zoske shot a three-over-par to win the individual title as Solon finished three strokes behind team champion West Delaware.
The runner-up finish sends Solon to the state tournament for the fourth time in the past five seasons.
The Class 3A state tournament is scheduled for May 27-28 at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in Cedar Falls.
Freshman Ryder Laing shot an 82 to finish in 12th place as the Spartans had four golfers finish in the top 17.
Senior Nolan Seagren shot an 83 to finish 16th while teammate Nick Stahle was one shot back with an 84 to place 17th.
