Class 5A seventh-ranked Liberty High swept Cedar Rapids Washington 25-11, 25-6, 25-10 on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division contest in North Liberty.

Liberty High improved to 18-6 on the season and finished 7-0 in Mississippi Division play with the win while Cedar Rapids Washington dropped to 1-20 and 0-6 in divisional play.

Brooklyn Wheeler had a team-high 10 kills for Liberty High while Hadley Miller added seven kills and six ace serves for the Lightning.

Ava Meidlinger had five kills and three blocks and Ellie Wilson and Sydney Van Heukelom each had four kills for Liberty High.

Ava Clark had three kills and three blocks and Autumn Allen had a team-high 10 digs and five ace serves for Liberty.

Norah Willey had 15 assists and Hadley Miller had 13 assists while Wilson had three ace serves.
