Regina sprinted to a 42-point halftime lead and rolled to a 48-7 win over Durant on Friday in a Class 1A, District 6 matchup in Durant.

Aiden Gaffey passed for 161 yards and three touchdowns and Gabe Hegelheimer rushed for 104 yards and a score and caught a 61-yard touchdown pass as Regina improved to 5-0 on the season and 2-0 in District 6 play.

Gaffey completed all eight of his passes while throwing for 161 yards as Regina rolled up 384 yards of total offense while averaging 12.8 yards per play.

Holt Hinkel caught a 60-yard touchdown pass and returned a punt 51 yards for a touchdown and Ryan Tracy and Kaleb Moeller each had touchdown receptions.

Zach Poe passed for 22 yards and a touchdown and also rushed for 25 yards for the Regals.

Tate Wallace had a team-high 5.5 tackles with 4.5 for loss and three sacks while Simon Shetler added a sack for Regina.

Will Evans had 1.5 tackles for loss as Regina finished with 10 tackles for loss and five sacks.

Owen DeLong passed for 113 yards and a touchdown and ran for 33 yards for Durant (1-4).

Gunnar Klahn had three receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown for the Wildcats
