Class 5A seventh-ranked West High swept ninth-ranked Cedar Falls 25-20, 26-24, 25-15 in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division showdown between top-10 teams on Tuesday in Cedar Falls.

West High improved to 12-4 on the season and moved to 3-0 in MVC Valley Division matches while Cedar Falls dropped to 11-6 and 2-2 in MVC divisional matches.

Sophia Austen led West High with 15 kills and added three blocks and 13 digs Cyan Blommer added 13 kills for the Trojans.

Josephine Austen had nine kills and Taylor Otte had five kills and five blocks for West High.

Izzie McDonald had a team-high 15 digs and three ace serves and Lila Eastvold had 38 assists, two kills and two aces.
