Regina Improves to 2-0 With 49-6 Win Over West Branch

Ryan Tracy returned the opening kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown and Regina rolled to a 49-6 win over West Branch on Friday in a non-district contest at the Little Rose Bowl in West Branch.
Regina scored touchdowns the first seven times it had the ball while improving to 2-0 on the season.
West Branch dropped to 0-2.
Regina had touchdown drives of 64, 60, 63, 11 and 89 yards in the opening half while building a 42-0 lead.
Junior Gabe Hegelheimer rushed for 58 yards and three touchdowns and also caught two passes for 103 yards including a 74-yard touchdown catch and run as Regina rolled up 412 yards of total offense.
Zach Poe completed 5-of-6 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown and Aiden Gaffey went 4-of-8 passing for 83 yards and a score for Regina.
Holt Hinkel rushed for 32 yards and Poe Ran for 20 yards for the Regals while eight different Regals had a reception.
Tate Wallace caught two passes for 43 yards and a touchdown and Kaleb Moeller had two receptions for 40 yards while Gabe Schuessler had two catches for 29 yards.
Dillan Schenkel completed 4-of-8 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown for West Branch with freshman Thomas Pedersen making four receptions for 95 yards and a score.
Keaton Gates had a team-high 5.5 tackles for West Branch while Garrett Tisinger and Daiveon Kriegel each had 1.5 tackles for loss.
Sawyer Jeffries had 2.5 tackles with a tackle for loss for the Bears.
