Kaitlin Loria still has another year to add to what has already been a stellar prep resume.

Before her senior year started Loria made a decision on her basketball future beyond City High.

Loria announced her commitment to Wayne State College on Monday with a post on social media.

“I am so excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Wayne State College,” Loria wrote on X. “Thank you so much to the coaching staff for this opportunity.”

A three-year starter for the Little Hawks, Loria has already scored 821 career points and grabbed 457 career rebounds.

Loria is coming off the best season of her career last winter when she averaged 11 points and a career-high 6.8 rebounds per game while helping the Little Hawks to a 17-7 record.

The 5-foot-10 Loria shot 44 percent from the field including 29 percent from 3-point range and 66 percent from the free throw line.

Loria was a second team Mississippi Valley Conference all-division selection last season after averaging 1.5 assists and .8 steals per game.

Wayne State College is a member of NCAA Division II and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

The Wildcats went 10-18 last season.
