Clear Creek Amana raced to a 27-point halftime lead and cruised to a 71-58 win over Vinton-Shellsburg on Tuesday in a WAMAC West Division contest in Tiffin.

The win was the sixth straight for Clear Creek Amana over WAMAC opponents and improved the Clippers to 8-4 on the season and 6-2 in WAMAC play.

Vinton-Shellsburg dropped to 4-7 with the loss.

Carson Meskimen led Clear Creek Amana with 19 points, five rebounds and four steals and Myles Howell had 16 points for the Clippers.

Beckett Boeset had 11 points nine rebounds and five assists and Alex DuBay added 11 points.
