Regina Moves Up, Solon Holds Spot in Recent IHSAA Boys Basketball Rankings

Regina moved up and Solon held its spot in the second boys basketball rankings of the season released on Monday by the Iowa High School Athletic Association.
Regina climbed one spot to third in the Class 2A rankings after opening the season 6-1.
The Regals follow top-ranked Unity Christian, second-ranked Treynor in the Class 2A rankings.
Solon remained seventh in the Class 3A rankings following am 8-0 start to the season to included a 75-34 win over previously Class 2A No. 10 ranked Mid-Prairie on Saturday.
Ballard remains the top ranked team in Class 3A followed by Clear Lake, Cedar Rapids Xavier, Storm Lake and Pella.
Other top-ranked teams in the rankings include Cedar Falls in Class 4A and Fort Dodge St. Edmond in Class 1A.
