Your Prep Sports Area Alumni Report: Liberty High Graduate Van Scoyoc Helps St. Olaf Reach National Tournament

The Your Prep Sports Alumni Report is a weekly segment that recognizes the accomplishments of graduates from YPS area schools that are continuing their careers as student athletes at the collegiate level. Alumni News is a way for readers to keep tabs on former area standouts.
Iva Senio
West Branch graduate and current Loras College junior Iva Senio had a strong season while helping the Duhawks to a 7-20 record this fall.
Senio ranked second on the team with 228 total digs and 3.1 digs per set and led Loras with a .944 serve receiving percentage and added 15 ace serves.
Over the last two seasons the 5-foot-7 Senio has accumulated 491 digs and 46 ace serves for the Duhawks.
Sam Kueter
Former City High standout and current Iowa Western freshman defensive lineman Sam Kueter had a big game in a 60-0 shutout of Ellsworth on Saturday in Council Bluffs.
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Kueter had two tackles including a tackle for loss in the win helping Iowa Western improve to 9-1 on the season.
Kueter also forced two fumbles, recovered a fumble and added a quarterback hurry in the win.
Lilah Van Scoyoc
Former Liberty High standout and current St. Olaf junior Lilah Van Scoyoc helped the Oles to a 26-8 regular season record, including an 11-0 mark in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, a runner-up finish in the MIAC tournament and a berth in the Division III National Tournament.
Van Scoyoc ranks third on the team with 257 kills on .190 hitting this season and is fourth with 40 blocks.
The 5-foot-10 Van Scoyoc ranks sixth on the team with 124 digs.
St. Olaf will face the University of Northwestern-St. Paul in the opening round of the national tournament on Thursday.
