Running Game, Defense Lead Clear Creek Amana in 43-0 Win Over Oskaloosa

Clear Creek Amana turned to its ground game to close the season on a high note.
The Clippers rolled up 283 rushing yards and had four different players with a touchdown run in a 43-0 win over Oskaloosa in the season finale for both teams at Clipper Field in Tiffin.
Sophomore quarterback Texton Bollers rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns and senior Ethan Vice rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns as Clear Creek Amana closed the season 4-5.
Ian Kelley added 58 rushing yards and ran for a score and Aren Schlemme had a 15-yard touchdown run as the Clippers snapped a two-game losing skid.
Schlemme also picked off two passes and returned one for a touchdown while helping Clear Creek Amana post its second shutout of the season.
Bollers also passed for 44 yards for Clear Creek Amana in the win.
Senior linebacker Aidan Schrock had a team-high eight tackles including 1.5 for loss and sophomore Nolan Dao had three tackles for loss and a sack to lead the Clipper defensive effort.
Senior Wyatt Key had 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks and added an interception and Dylan Schrock had 2.5 tackles for loss.
Oskaloosa closed the season 0-9.
