Your Prep Sports Area Alumni Report: Liberty High Graduate Kimm Leads St. Cloud State Volleyball To 5-0 Start in Conference Play

Grahm Goering
Former West High standout and current South Dakota State senior receiver had career highs in both receptions and receiving yards on Saturday in a 51-7 win over Mercyhurst in Brookings, South Dakota.
Goering had seven receptions for 101 yards in the win as South Dakota State improved to 4-0 on the season.
On the season the 6-foot-2, 210-pound Goering ranks second on the team with 190 receiving yards on 13 receptions.
Meg Berkland
Former Clear Creek Amana all-stater and current Purdue Fort Wayne sophomore libero Meg Berkland had 28 digs in a pair of four-set losses to Robert Morris last week in a pair of Horizon League matches in Fort Wayne.
Berkland had 16 digs and an ace serve in a Friday night loss to Robert Morris and added 12 digs in a four-set loss on Saturday.
On the season the 5-foot-2 Berkland ranks second on the team with 129 digs averaging 2.6 digs per set and ranks second on the team with eight ace serves.
Shelby Kimm
Former Liberty High standout and current St. Cloud State junior Shelby Kimm had 26 kills in a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matches over the weekend helping the Huskies push their winning streak to five.
Kimm had 12 kills in a three-set win at Jamestown on Friday and had 14 kills in a sweep of Northern State on Saturday as St. Cloud State improved to 10-3 on the season and 5-0 in NSIC play.
On the season Kimm ranks second on the team with 120 kills (3.4 kills per set) and 108 digs and has 10 ace serves and nine blocks.
