West High had four runners finish in the top 35 and placed sixth at the 18-team Cedar Rapids Invitational on Thursday at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids.

Class 4A fourth-ranked Ankeny Centennial won the team title with 40 points followed by 3A second-ranked Mount Vernon-Lisbon with 97 and Davenport Central with 133.

Clinton was fourth with 143 followed by Pleasant Valley with 153 and No. 14 West High with 173.

Adrienne Hodge led West High placing 22^nd in a time of 20:17.7 while Kate Van Waning finished 27^th in a time of 20:39.2/

Ava Twait was 33^rd in 21:12.5 and Ellie DeWaard was 34^th in 21:13.1.

Ella Stone placed 57^th in 22:36.8 for the Trojans.
