West High Senior McCaffery Highlights Area MVC All-Division Selections

Add another accolade on the career list for West High senior standout Jack McCaffery.
McCaffery was a unanimous first team all-division selection when the Mississippi Valley Conference released its postseason honors on Monday.
The 6-foot-8 McCaffery averaged a career-high 21.2 points per game this season while helping the Trojans to a 15-8 record on his way to being a unanimous first-team pick in the MVC Mississippi Division.
McCaffery also led West High with 3.3 assists and 1.3 blocked shots per game to go with 7.3 rebounds per game.
Junior Julian Manson joined McCaffery on the Mississippi Division first team.
Manson averaged 12.3 points and a team-high 7.4 rebounds per game while shooting 63 percent from the field.
West High junior Mason Goering and senior Jack Wallace were both honorable mention selections in the Mississippi Division.
Liberty High had three players earn all-division honors.
Sophomore Jerimiah Washpun was a second-team pick in the Mississippi Division after leading the Lightning with 19 points per game.
Washpun averaged 4.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 47 percent from the floor.
Liberty High seniors Collin Decker and Maddoc Coapstick each earned honorable mention honors in the Mississippi Division.
City High senior Jaxton Schroeder was a second-team all-division selection in the Valley Division.
Schroeder averaged 13.2 points and a team-high 9.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocked shots per game while shooting 61 percent from the floor.
City High juniors Davion Luckett and Christopher Watkins each earned honorable mention status in the Valley Division.
