Clear Creek Amana Senior Rotzoll Named WAMAC West Division Player of the Year

Clear Creek Amana made history this season claiming the first overall WAMAC Conference title in program history.
On Tuesday the Clippers began to reap the rewards for their team success.
Clear Creek Amana had seven players earn all-division honors from the WAMAC Conference when the conference released its postseason awards.
The Clippers had a trio of first-team selections in the West Division after going a perfect 10-0 while claiming its second straight West Division title and 15-1 overall in conference games.
Senior Andrew Rotzoll was named West Division player of the year to highlight the all-division picks for the Clippers.
The career 3-point leader at Clear Creek Amana and the fifth 1,000-point scorer in program history, Rotzoll was a unanimous first-team West Division selection after leading the Clippers in scoring and 3-pointers.
Rotzoll averaged 16.2 points per game on 48 percent shooting including 44 percent shooting (60-of-137) from 3-point range.
The 6-foot-3 guard also averaged 3.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.9 steals per game while helping the Clippers to a 19-5 record.
Senior Hayden Umoren joined Rotzoll as a unanimous West Division first-team selection.
Umoren averaged 11.8 points, four rebounds, 3 assists and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 63 percent from the floor and 71 percent from the free throw line.
Senior Robert Meade was also named to the West Division first team after averaging 10.2 points and a team-high 4.2 rebounds per game.
Meade shot 52 percent from the floor and averaged 1.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game.
Seniors Brody Clubb and Brock Hilsman were each second-team picks in the WAMAC West Division.
Clubb averaged 8.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 46 percent from the floor.
Hilsman averaged 5.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 31 percent from 3-point range.
Sophomore Beckett Boeset and senior Cale Berry were both honorable mention picks in the West Division.
Solon had five players earn all-division honors in the East Division including a pair of first-team selections.
Senior Caleb Bock was a unanimous first-team pick in the East Division after leading the Spartans in scoring and rebounding to help the Solon to an 18-6 record.
Bock averaged 14.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 58 percent from the floor.
Senior Isaiah Zoske joined Bock on the East Division first team after ranking second on the team with 12 points per game.
Zoske shot 44 percent from the floor and averaged 3.3 rebounds 2 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
Sophomore Maddox Kelley was a second-team selection in the East Division after averaging 8.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2.7 assists per game.
Senior Nolan Seagren and sophomore Grant Gordon were each honorable mention selections in the East Division.
