Girls Basketball Roundup: Evans and Lower Lead Clear Creek Amana Past South Tama

Averie Lower and Lena Evans combined for 57 points to lead Class 4A No. 12 Clear Creek Amana to an 82-36 win over South Tama on Friday in a WAMAC West Division contest in Tiffin.
The win was the third in a row for Clear Creek Amana which improved to 12-6 on the season and 8-2 in WAMAC West Division play while South Tama dropped to 2-18 on the year and 0-10 in WAMAC West games.
Lower poured in a game-high 30 points and Evans added 27 points for the Clippers.
Brooklyn Lee had nine points and Kennedy Stratton had eight for Clear Creek Amana.
Dyan Keahna had 15 points to lead South Tama.
