Class 5A fifth-ranked Cedar Rapids Prairie defeated ninth-ranked City High 75-59 on Monday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division contest in Cedar Rapids.

Cedar Rapids Prairie improved to 15-2 on the season with the win while City High dropped to 12-5.

Kaitlin Loria led three City High players in double figures with 16 points while Emmy McComas had 15 points for the Little Hawks.

August Palmer had 12 points and Tessa Driscoll had nine points for City High.

Emily Larsen led Cedar Rapids Prairie with27 points and seven rebounds while Asia Beale had 15 points and six rebounds for the Hawks.

KeaOnna Worley had 17 points and six assists and Brynlie Hadenfeldt had 11 points and eight rebounds.
