Lena Evans poured in a game-high 21 points to lead Class 4A No. 12 Clear Creek Amana to a 60-40 win over Benton Community on Tuesday in a WAMAC West Division contest in Van Horne.

Clear Creek Amana improved to 11-6 on the season and 7-2 in WAMAC West Division games while Benton Community dropped to 6-12 and 5-4 in WAMAC West Division action.

Evans led three Clear Creek Amana players in double figures as Averie Lower had 18 points and Kennedy Stratton added 11 for the Clippers.

Talulah Schroeder led Benton Community with 11 points and Aubrey Kelly had 10 for the Bobcats.
