Clear Creek Amana put three runners in the top 10 on its way to a third-place finish at the Jim Hetrick Invitational on Thursday at Grace Lutheran Bible Camp in DeWitt.

Seniors Isaac Sorensen and Brock Hilsman and freshman Carson Meskimen all finished in the top 10 as Class 3A seventh-ranked Clear Creek Amana finished with 77 points.

Davenport Central won the team title with 40 points and 3A fifth-ranked Central DeWitt was runner-up with 63 points.

Sorensen finished seventh with 16:51.2 while Hilsman was right behind in eighth place in a time of 16:51.8.

Meskimen finished 10^th in a time of 16:59.7.

Nic Schieltz finished 20^th in 17:33.3 and Kyle Vogel was 32^nd in 17:47.9 for the Clippers.
