Clear Creek Amana swept Grinnell in a WAMAC West Division doubleheader on Wednesday in Oxford winning the opener 7-6 and taking the nightcap 9-3.

The Clippers stretch their winning streak to five and improved to 7-3 on the season with the sweep while Grinnell dropped to 4-8.

Clear Creek Amana scored three runs in the seventh inning of game one to rally for a 7-6.

Sadie Hebl capped the come back with a game-winning RBI single.

Brenna Williams went 3-for-3 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored to lead Clear Creek Amana while Lizzi Pasbrig had two hits and drove in two runs and Aeslyn Massey and Reese Stockman each had a hit and scored twice.

Elizabeth Timmerman picked up the win in game one allowing thee runs, two earned on two hits in two innings of relief.

Clear Creek Amana jumped to a 7-2 lead after two innings in the nightcap on its way to a 9-3 win.

Jenna Zillyette earned the win allowing two runs on four hits while Kyla Schulte allowed one run on two hits in four innings of relief.

Timmerman went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored and Pasbrig had two hits and drove in two runs.

Stockman had a hit, drove in two runs and scored twice and Massey was 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI.
