Clear Creek Amana will open the postseason the same way it started the season two months ago – top-ranked and unbeaten.

Defending Class 4A runner-up Clear Creek Amana remained atop Class 4A in the final volleyball rankings released by Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union on Monday.

Clear Creek Amana, who has been No. 1 in every 4A ranking this season, is the lone unbeaten team in Class 4A at 43-0 and joins 2A top-ranked Dike-New Hartford (44-0) as the only remaining undefeated teams in the state.

The Clippers are one of five Your Prep Sports area teams in the final rankings of the season.

City High (22-9) opens postseason play No. 11 in the 5A rankings while defending 5A state champion Liberty High (18-21) is No. 14 in 5A.

Solon (20-14) is No. 13 in the final Class 3A rankings and Regina (26-10) is No. 14 in the 2A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams in the this week are West Des Moines Dowling in 5A, Mount Vernon in 3A and Ankeny Christian in 1A.
