Regina finished fourth behind three ranked teams from larger classes on Thursday at the 15-team Cascade Invitational at Fillmore Fairways Golf Course in Cascade.

Junior Samuel Welter finished 11^th to lead Class 1A No. 12 Regina to a fourth-place finish with 135 points.

Class 3A No. 13 Central DeWitt won the team title with 46 points followed by 2A No. 17 Jesup with 105 and 2A No. 20 Tipton with 128 points.

Regina finished in front of Dubuque Wahlert which was fifth with 168 points and 1A No. 16 Dyersville Beckman which finished with 186 points.

Welter highlighted a strong day for the Regals placing 11^th in a time of 18:10.4.

Sophomore Howie O’Rourke placed 23^rd in a time of 18:51.7 and senior Ambrose Nuxoll was 29^th in 19:06.5 as the Regals had three runners in the top 30 among team finishers.
