Boys Basketball Roundup: Clear Creek Amana Wins Second Road Game in Two Days at Mount Vernon

Clear Creek Amana used a strong defense effort to pick up a second road win in as many days downing Mount Vernon 56-37 on Friday in a WAMAC Conference cross-divisional showdown in Mount Vernon.
The Clippers held Mount Vernon to nine first-half points while building a 20-point lead at intermission on its way to improving to 4-0 on the season.
Mount Vernon dropped to 2-3 with the loss.
Kyle Schrepfer led Clear Creek Amana with 17 points and five assists while Ben Swails added 10 points, five rebound and five assists.
Grant Kruse chipped in with 10 points for the Clippers.
