Softball Roundup: Regina Offensive Gets Rolling in Sweep of Tipton

Regina remained unbeaten with a sweep of Tipton in a River Valley Conference South Division doubleheader on Wednesday in Tipton.
Regina won the opener 20-0 in three innings and took the nightcap 15-0 in three innings while improving to 5-0 on the season and 4-0 in RVC play.
Tipton dropped to 0-2 and 0-2 in conference action.
Emma Nibaur tossed a three-inning no-hitter in the opener striking out eight.
Regina scored 14 first-inning runs and added three runs in both the second and third innings.
Courtney Kessler went 3-for-4 with a home run, six RBI and four runs scored and Baylee O’Connor had two hits, scored twice and drove in four runs.
Annie Gahan was 2-for-3 with three runs scored, Gabby Sueppel had two hits and scored twice while Emma Sueppel and Nibaur each had hit and scored three runs.
Regina scored 15 runs in the third inning of the nightcap.
Jaelyn Ernst earned the win by tossing two innings of hitless relief while striking out four.
Kessler went 2-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI while Gabby Sueppel and Emma Sueppel each had a hit, scored twice and drove in two runs.
Abby Clark doubles, scored a run and drove in a run, Ernst had a double, scored twice and drove in a run and Kate Milder had a hit, scored two runs and drove in a run.
Annie Gahan was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI in game two.
