A Mitch Evans goal off a Pau Alberich assist proved to be all the scoring Clear Creek Amana would need in a 1-0 shutout at Independence on Thursday.

The win was the second straight for Clear Creek Amana and improved the Clippers to 8-4 on the season while Independence dropped to 6-5.

The goal was the team-leading 10th of the season for Evans and helped the Clippers win their third 1-0 match of the season.
