Class 3A fourth-ranked Solon swept No. 11 West Delaware 25-20, 25-14, 25-22 in a WAMAC East Division contest on Tuesday in Manchester.

Solon improved to 25-4 on the season and 4-0 in WAMAC East Division play with the win while West Delaware dropped to 18-8 and 1-3.

Amelia Guinn led Solon with 10 kills while Charleigh Whitford had eight kills and Zephie Bishop added seven kills and four blocks for the Spartans.

Addison Walter had five kills and three blocks and Harper Nicholson had four kills and eight blocks.

Macy Fuller had a team-high 13 digs and four ace serves and Ava Hohn had 17 assists for Solon.
