The Your Prep Sports Alumni Report is a weekly segment that recognizes the accomplishments of graduates from YPS area schools that are continuing their careers as student athletes at the collegiate level. Alumni News is a way for readers to keep tabs on former area standouts.

Santana Miller

Former West High standout and current Abilene Christian junior Santana Miller had three tackles including a pair of solo stops in a 34-17 loss to No. 23 Mercer on Saturday in Abilene, Texas.

In two games this season Miller has seven tackles with three solo stops, half a tackle for loss and a forced fumble.

Lucy Maassen

Liberty High graduate and current Wartburg freshman Lucy Maassen had 12 kills in two matches to help the Knights go 2-0 at their own triangular.

Maassen had five kills and four kills in a three set win over Saint Mary’s (Minnesota) and had seven kills, three digs and a block in a sweep of Concordia (Wisconsin).

On the season Maassen ranks fourth on the team with 55 kills and has 17 digs helping Wartburg to an 11-5 record.

Lilah Van Scoyoc

Former Liberty High standout Lilah Van Scoyoc had a team-high 16 kills on .325 hitting to lead St. Olaf in a four-set win over the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Saturday in Northfield, Minnesota.

A senior outside hitter, Van Scoyoc had 10 kills in a five-set loss to Minnesota Morris on Friday.

On the season the 5-foot-10 Van Scoyoc ranks second on the team with 130 kills on .295 hitting and ranks third on the team with 26 blocks while helping St. Olaf to a 10-4 record and a 1-0 mark in MIAC play.
