Earlier this week Regina locked up a trip to the state softball tournament.

Now the Regals are beginning to reap the individual rewards for their team success.

Regina had six players named to the River Valley Conference South Division softball teams when the league released its postseason honors this week.

Junior pitcher Lily Nibaur headlined the Regals named to the RVC South Division squad as a unanimous first team selection.

Senior catcher Chloe Rogers and junior shortstop Keegan Kleppe joined Nibaur on the South Division first team.

Sophomore outfielder Maggie White and eighth-grade infielder Lexi Gaffey were both second team picks in the South Division while senior Harper earned honorable mention honors.

Nibaur posted a 19-7 record with a 1.88 ERA and 1.07 WHIP while striking out 161 in a team-high 164 innings in the circle.

The junior also batted a team-best .484 with 37 runs scored, seven extra-base hits, 22 stolen bases and 16 RBI.

Kleppe hit .477 with nine extra-base hits including five doubles, scored 33 runs and drove in 20 runs on her way to earning first team honors.

Rogers hit .302 with seven extra-base hits and two home runs, driving in 18 runs and posting a .771 OPS.

White hit .294 with five doubles, 10 RBI, 26 runs scored and 15 stolen bases and Gaffey batted .385 with 21 runs, 14 extra-base hits and a team-high 28 RBI.

West Branch had three players named to the South Division teams led by sophomore Lander Malloy who was a first-team all-South Division pick as a utility player.

Malloy batted .367 with 11 extra-base hits, 23 runs scored and 20 RBI and went 10-14 in the circle with a 5.65 ERA and 90 strikeouts in a team-leading 126 1/3 innings pitched.

Sophomore Karly Shelton earned second team honors after hitting .380 with 26 runs scored, 18 stolen bases and eight RBI.

Junior Tori Vikel earned South Division honorable mention honors for the Bears.
