Liberty High seniors Callie Stanley and Ava Tague continued to pick up postseason accolades this week.

Both Stanley and Tague earned all-state honors from the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association when the organization released its postseason honors.

Stanley was a first-team selection in Class 3A while Tague earned second team honors after the duo helped Liberty High to a 10-3-4 record.

Stanley ranked in the top five in Class 3A in points, goals and assists leading the Lightning in all three categories.

The senior standout ranked fourth in 3A with 13 assists and was fifth in 3A in both points (61) and goals (24).

Tague earned second team all-state honors after allowing 16 goals in 17 matches and making 128 saves while posting a save percentage of 89 percent.

The Liberty High duo highlighted seven area players to earn all-state honors from the IHSSCA.

Solon had a pair of players earn all-state honors in Class 1A after the Spartans went 14-4-1 and advanced to a 1A regional final.

Junior Sophia Link and senior Sofia Ortega were each second team all-state picks in Class 1A.

Link led the Spartans with 22 goals and 12 assists and Ortega ranked second on the team with 14 goals and 11 assists.

West Branch junior Grace Hamann was a first team selection in Class 1A after helping the Bears to a 10-9-1 record.

Hamann ranked fourth in Class 1A with 43 goals, led West Branch with 92 points and tied for the team lead with six assists.

Regina senior Elise Gingerich earned honorable mention honors in Class 1A after helping the Regals to a 12-5-2 record.

Gingerich led Regina with 28 goals and added six assists as the Regals advanced to a 1A regional final.

Clear Creek Amana senior Lena Evans was named to the Class 2A second team after helping the Clippers to a 10-5-2 record and a regional final appearance.

Evans led Clear Creek Amana with 22 goals and ranked second on the team with eight assists.
