City High had three runners finish in the top 11 in a runner-up team finish on Thursday at the Jim Boughton Invitational at the Dubuque Cross Country Complex.

Pleasant Valley won the team title with 39 points followed by City High with 75 points, Dubuque Senior with 89, Cedar Falls with 100 and Clinton with 181.

Abigail Burns led City High finished eighth in a time of 18:26 and Grace Hamann was ninth in 18:51.2 for the Little Hawks.

Sophomore Eliza Doster finished 11^th in 18:59 and Naomi Downing-Sherer finished 27^th in 19:55.8.
