West High and Liberty High each moved into the Class 4A girls cross country rankings in the second set of rankings released by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches on Monday.

Liberty High debuts at No. 17 in the Class 4A rankings while West High is No. 13 in the second rankings of the season.

City High held its spot at fifth in the 4A rankings trailing top-ranked Johnston, Pleasant Valley, Waukee Northwest and Ankeny Centennial.

Solon dropped one spot to fifth in the latest Class 3A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams in the second set of rankings this season are Pella in Class 3A, Mid-Prairie in Class 2A and Madrid in Class 1A.
