City High held its spot and Clear Creek Amana climbed in the second edition of the Iowa Association of Track Coaches cross country rankings while Solon and West High made their season debut in the newest set of rankings released on Monday.

City High remained second in the Class 4A rankings trailing top-ranked Cedar Falls while Clear Creek Amana moved up two spots to No. 10 in the Class 3A rankings.

Solon made its season debut in the Class 3A rankings at No. 17 while West High jumped into the Class 4A rankings at No. 14.

Other top-ranked teams in the second set of rankings this week are Gilbert in Class 3A, Chariton in Class 2A and Lake Mill in Class 1A.
