Solon crowned a pair of champions and had 10 wrestlers post top-five finishes while placing fourth as a team at the WAMAC Conference tournament on Friday at Clear Creek Amana High School in Tiffin.

Kara VeDepo and McKenna Rogers won individual titles to headline the ten top-five finishers for Solon as the Spartans rolled up 156 points.

Vinton-Shellsburg won the team title with 198 points and West Delaware was runner-up with 163 points.

Mount Vernon was third with 161 followed by Solon and Independence was fifth with 151 points.

Clear Creek Amana finished 11^th with 22 points.

VeDepo (29-6) won the 100-pound title and Rogers (14-0) followed with a title at 105 pounds to lead Solon.

Rogers pinned her way to the 105-pound championship, posting four straight pins including a pin of Kaelynn Roster of Vinton-Shellsburg in 3:11 in the championship match.

VeDepo went 2-0 en route to the 100-pound title winning an 11-0 major decision over Addison Schulte of West Delaware in the title match.

Kate Richards (20-17) finished third at 115 pounds and Alannah Mahoney (19-7) was third at 120 pounds.

Alexis Anderson placed fourth at 135, Olivia Bonnema was fourth at 140 and Lucianna Miller was fourth at 145.

Emily Pence was fifth at 110, Kendall Jensen was fifth at 144 and Haiden Wolfe was fifth at 235.

Clear Creek Amana was led by Marlie McBride who finished sixth at 115, Jordan Hunt was sixth at 170 pounds and Halle Bormann was seventh at 135.
