Baseball Roundup: Solon Completes Season Sweep of Regina with 11-5 Win

Solon completed the season sweep of rival Regina with an 11-5 win over the Regals in a non-conference contest on Wednesday at the Solon Nature and Recreation Area.
The Spartans improved to 20-17 on the season with the win while Regina dropped to 13-16.
Kaden Hanson earned the win for Solon allowing five runs on 10 hits while striking out three and walking four.
Aidan Doyle worked a scoreless inning of relief for the Spartans.
Brett White was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs and two RBI to lead Solon while Vince Steinbrech had two hits, drove in a run and scored a run.
Jackson Link had a hit, scored a run and drove in a run and Nolan Seagren and Dylan Gorham each had hits and scored runs for the Spartans.
Blake Timmons drove in a run and scored three times for Solon.
Danny Gavin went 3-for-3 with two doubles three RBI and a run scored to lead Regina while Hudson Koch had two hits and scored two runs.
Jack Clark had a hit and drove in two runs for the Regals and Connor Nicpon had a hit and scored a run.
Will Litton, Henry Bottorff and Alex Paul all added this for Regina.
