Postseason action begins for Clear Creek Amana on Thursday at the WAMAC Conference meet.

The Clippers were solid Saturday in their final tune-up for the postseason.

Clear Creek Amana placed fifth at the 23-team North Linn meet in Troy Mills with 191 points.

Class 3A No. 12 Clear Creek Amana place behind a trio of ranked teams and Class 4A Ames.

3A second-ranked Mount Pleasant won the team title with 78 points, finishing 30 points in front of 3A No. 7 Marion.

Ames was third with 127 points while 2A No. 3 Mid-Prairie placed fourth with 135 points.

Regina finished 15th with 356 points and Solon was 20th with 457 points.

Senior Wyatt Sedlacek led the way for Clear Creek Amana with a 15th place finish in 17:09 while teammate Cole Liebe was 27th in 17:32.

Nate Green and Nathan Meyer paced Regina finishing 21st and 22nd respectively while Jorel Justus placed 49th to lead Solon.
