Liberty High Seniors Tague and Stanley Highlight Area MVC All-Division Soccer Selections

Callie Stanley was among the most dangerous offensive players and one of the most prolific scorers in Class 3A this season.
The Liberty High senior is starting to rake in the awards for her impressive season.
Stanley was named Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division player of the year when the league released its postseason honors on Monday.
Senior Ava Tague joined Stanley as a first-team all-division pick and was named Mississippi Division keeper of the year as Liberty High had eight players earn all-division honors.
West High and City High each had five players earn all-division honors highlighted by City High senior Mira Gollnick who was named Valley Division keeper of the year.
Stanley led the Liberty High all-division picks after ranking fifth in Class 3A and second among MVC players with a career-high 24 goals this season while helping Liberty High to a 10-3-4 record.
A four-year starter, Stanley added a team-high 13 assists and led the Lightning with 61 points.
Tague earned keeper of the year honors after posting 128 saves and an 89 percent save percentage while allowing just 16 goals in 17 matches.
Junior Morgan Bennett joined Tague and Stanley on the Mississippi Division first team after ranking second on the team in both goals (8) and assists (6).
Juniors Allie Hunter and Mia Ungs and senior Shay Sundblad were all second team all-Mississippi Division selections for the Lightning.
Ungs had two goals and an assist and Sundblad had three goals and two assists for Liberty High while Hunter added two assists.
Senior Kali Browning and sophomore Delilah Espinoza-Kroona earned honorable mention honors for Liberty High.
Gollnick was named Valley Division keeper of the year after making 224 saves and posting a save percentage of 86.8 percent for City High.
The senior allowed 34 goals in 16 matches on her way to earning first-team all-division honors.
City high freshman Willa Rogers and senior Carly Drake were each named to the Valley Division second team.
Rogers had a team-high six assists and scored a goal and Drake had two goals and three assists for the Little Hawks.
Juniors Jayla Sanchez and Madeline Fischer each earned honorable mention honors in the Valley Division for City High.
West High seniors Alex Held and Anna Goska were each named to the Mississippi Division first team.
Goska led West High and ranked third in the MVC with 22 goals while adding seven assists.
Held had 11 goals and a team-high 13 assists and ranked second on the team with 35 points.
Senior Lauryn Hynek was a second team selection for the Trojans after ranking second on the team with 11 goals and adding three assists.
Sophomore Sofia Fuentes and freshman Jessie Blount each earned honorable mention honors for West High.
