Clear Creek Amana Junior Simpson Commits To Missouri Western

A key piece of Clear Creek Amana’s state semifinal volleyball team has announced her plans for her volleyball future.
Junior middle Bailey Simpson announced her commitment to Missouri Western on Sunday with a post on social media.
“I’m so excited to finally announce my verbal commitment to (Missouri Western),” Simpson wrote on X. “I want to thank all my coaches, amazing teammates and especially my parents. I’m beyond grateful for this blessing from Coach Fey & Ruff, can’t wait for the next steps.”
Simpson emerged as one of the top players in Class 4A this season while helping the Clippers to 42 wins and a spot in the state semifinals.
The 6-foot-2 Simpson ranked second on the team and led Clear Creek Amana in blocks on her way to earned second team Class 4A all-state and unanimous all-WAMAC West Division honors.
Simpson had a career-high 298 kills last season while ranking third in 4A with a hitting efficiency of .379.
Simpson was equally efficient defensively as she led Clear Creek Amana and ranked fourth in Class 4A with 101 blocks to go with 88 digs.
Over the past two seasons Simpson has amassed 514 kills and 179 blocks while helping the Clippers post a 79-12 record.
A member of the NCAA Division 2 and the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association, Missouri Western was 21-8 last season and advanced to the NCAA Division 2 national tournament.
