After a pair of wins to open the season Solon made its season debut in the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union girls soccer rankings on Wednesday.

Solon (2-0) is No. 13 in the Class 3A rankings after opening the season with back-to-back wins over Williamsburg and Center Point-Urbana.

Liberty High (1-1) dropped three spots to 11th in the Class 3A rankings.

Top-ranked teams in the second rankings of the season are Waukee Northwest in Class 3A, Waverly-Shell Rock in Class 2A and Hudson in Class 1A.
