Class 5A ninth-ranked City High fell to Cedar Rapids Jefferson 48-44 on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division contest in Iowa City.

Cedar Rapids Jefferson improved to 7-13 with the win while City High dropped to 16-5.

Tessa Driscoll had 14 points to lead City High while Eve Vitense added nine points for the Little Hawks.

Thisbe Lewis and Maybes Miller each had six points and Hattie Galloway had five points for City High.

Lexi Haller led Cedar Rapids Jefferson with 16 points and Elysionna Westerfield had 12 for the J-Hawks.

Evie Creighton had nine points and Kymara Atwood-Mayes had eight points for Cedar Rapids Jefferson.
