Cedar Rapids Prairie used a big third quarter to pull away from City High in a 64-46 win over the Little Hawks in a Mississippi Valley Conference matchup on Thursday in Cedar Rapids.

City High dropped to 2-13 with the loss while Cedar Rapids Prairie improved to 10-4 on the season.

Chris Watkins led City High with 12 points and Davion Hopkins added 10 points for the Little Hawks.

Iyon Harris had nine points and Jude Foley had eight for City High.

Tae Alexander had a game-high 20 points for Cedar Rapids Prairie and Cayden Larson had 10 points for the Hawks.

Austin Joens and David Fason each had nine points for Cedar Rapids Prairie.
