Class 5A fifth-ranked West High bounced back from a loss to City High on Friday with a 47-37 win at Linn-Mar on Tuesday in Marion.

West High improved to 12-4 with the win while Linn-Mar dropped to 2-14 with its fifth consecutive loss.

Grace Fincham led West High with 25 points and nine rebounds while Abby Neumiller added 12 points for the Trojans.

Ava Frese had six points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals and Kate Van Waning had 10 rebounds and two assists.
