Regina and Solon each held their spots in the most recent boys basketball rankings released on Monday  by the Iowa High School Athletic Association.

Regina (10-1) remained second in the Class 2A rankings while Solon (12-0) stayed put at sixth in the Class 3A rankings this week.

The Regals trails only top-ranked Unity Christian in the Class 2A rankings and are followed in the 2A top five by Carroll Kuemper, Tri-Center and Treynor.

Solon remained just outside the Class 3A top five that is made up of top-ranked Ballard, Clear Lake, Storm Lake, ADM and Pella.

Other top-ranked teams in the rankings include Cedar Falls in Class 4A and Fort Dodge St. Edmond in Class 1A.
