Six Your Prep Sports area teams held their spots in the most recent girls basketball rankings released by  the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union on Wednesday.

Regina, Solon, Clear Creek Amana, West High, City High and Liberty High all remained in the same spot in Wednesday rankings.

Clear Creek Amana (10-0) is the top-ranked team in Class 4A for the second consecutive week headlining a 4A top-five that includes Sioux City Heelan, Norwalk, Dallas Center-Grimes and Carlisle.

Solon (8-3) remained ninth in the 4A rankings.

West High (9-3) held its spot at seventh in 5A rankings while City High (11-3) remained eighth in 5A and Liberty High (8-4) stayed at No. 10.

Regina (8-3) remained No. 12 in the Class 2A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams this week are Johnston in Class 5A, Maquoketa in Class 3A, Rock Valley in Class 2A and Newell-Fonda in Class 1A.
